The Hotel Who?

Set in 1929, The Hotel Who was a historic non-fiction murder mystery experience that transformed the landmark Hotel Normandie into a 16-hour immersive world. Inspired by the hotel’s authentic 1920s history, Angela Fegers co-created and directed a multi-layered narrative featuring a cast of ten, thirteen interactive rooms, and a four-course dinner that transitioned seamlessly into an overnight stay. To sustain this high-fidelity environment, she managed the project’s end-to-end development, from the script and game mechanics to the overarching brand identity. Her leadership extended to the ensemble, where she trained the cast in long-duration improvisation to ensure the world remained unbroken for the guests. Ultimately, this production successfully synthesized dance theater and experiential dining, allowing participants to inhabit a meticulously researched piece of Los Angeles history.
