A Love Story

Set in 1950s, Los Angeles, A Love Story is an overnight immersive experience that mashed up the worlds of West Side Story and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. As co-creator and director, I utilized my dance training to weave choreography and trance-like movement throughout the night, offering guests fleeting glimpses of the mystery they would eventually solve. Beyond the creative, I managed the entire logistical operation—including ticketing, marketing, production and a complex check-in process—hosting up to 450 guests per weekend over a 12-week run. Each guest lived out the story through their own character identity and side missions, supported by these heightened physical moments and live swing performances that carried over into the next day.
