Rooted Series

Produced and designed by Apricot Productions, Rooted is an initiative engineered to bridge the gap between international artists and Berlin’s vibrant local arts scene. The program's mission is to empower creatives as they navigate the unique challenges of working within a foreign landscape while simultaneously responding to the diverse needs of the local community. To achieve this, the organization has cultivated distinct "roots" within the program—including festivals, pitch opportunities, workshops, networking events, and webinars—leveraging shared experiences and resources to build lasting connections in Berlin and beyond. To date, the Rooted series has successfully facilitated high-level collaborations with prestigious institutions and organizations, such as NYU Tisch, Kultur LX of Luxembourg, LAKE Studios Berlin, ADDE danza-Basque Region, LAFT, and Tanzbüro.
